Janice Johnson Thomas

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the graveside service for Ms. Janice Johnson Thomas, age 68, who passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Memorial Health in Savannah. Ms. Thomas was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County; she was a home healthcare worker for various agencies and a member of Baxley Freewill Baptist Church.

Ms. Thomas is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Thomas; one daughter, Kim Thomas Griffin; one brother, James Johnson and parents, Jim and Hattie Bryant Johnson.

Surviving is her son, Kevin Thomas (Frannie); three daughters, Kendra Sellers (Ike), Heather Farmer (Dustin) and Hope Thomas (Zach); son-in-law, Jason Griffin (Lindsey) of Baxley; seven grandchildren, Camden Farmer, Callie Farmer, Eli Sellers, Finn Sellers, Noah Thomas, Chandler Griffin, and Caroline Griffin; and one great grandchild Ella Kate Hein.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Wayne Williamson and Reverend Caleb Folsom officiating.

The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service at the church cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be Kelly Murphy, Richard Russell, Shane Perry, Dwain Spell, Mitch Altman, Jason Johnson and Jeremy Johnson.
