Miles~Nobles Funeral Home announces the death of Wilson G. Crapps ,age 82, who passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 at his residence under the care of Southern Care Hospice. He was a lifelong resident of Appling County and a retired farmer. He served in the United States Army as a Military Policeman during the Korean War. He was a member and deacon of Miles Chapel Baptist Church.

His parents, Horace and Gracie Lee Smith Crapps preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Iris Sellers Crapps of Baxley; six children, Burton and wife Shirley Crapps, Susie and husband Johnny Anderson, Debbie and husband Joe Sannutti, Bill and wife Vanetta Crapps, Laurie and husband William Jarrell and David Crapps; 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two sisters, Inez Laney and Barbara Bedell; several nieces, nephews and other family also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 11 am at the Miles~Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Jerry Rogers, Reverend Doug Weisel and Reverend Doug Todd officiating.

Interment will follow in the Miles Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral services on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Active pallbearers will be BJ Crapps, Tina Anderson, Joey Sannutti, Donnie Jarrell, Bradley Crapps, Madison Crapps and K'Leb Crapps.

Honorary pallbearers will be County Farm Road Fire Department, Dialysis Center of Alma, Okefenokee EMS and Kenny Wright.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations be made to Miles Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund 1744 Miles Church Road, Baxley, GA 31513.
