Wilda Ann Taylor Rentz

Miles - Nobles funeral Home and Crematory announces the services of Wilda Ann Taylor Rentz, age 72, who passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 surrounded by her family at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah. She was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County. She worked in the family business at Appling Cleaners for over 20 years and was a retired homemaker. She was a member of Baxley Church of God and was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Rentz and parents, Paul and Evelyn Hampton Taylor.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Rentz and wife Sephy of Baxley and Chris Rentz and wife Lisa of Baxley; three grandchildren, Alex Rentz of Norfolk, VA, Cole Rentz of Baxley and Micah Rentz of Baxley; one brother, Ronnie Taylor and wife Yommie of Baxley and two nephews, Jonathan Taylor of Baxley and Brooks Taylor of Baxley.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 11 a.m. from the Baxley Church of God with the Reverend Robbie Tomberlin and Reverend Lamar Lee officiating.

Interment will follow in Friendship Congregational Christian Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 21, 2015 from 6-8 p.m at the funeral home.

Active pallbearers will be Danny Smith, Ashley Kerney, Eric Pitts, Brooks Taylor, Jerry Hallman, Keith Miles, Barry Rentz and Jamie Gardner.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Baxley Church of God Sanctuary Class, Doris Damion, Curtis and Ann Carter, Betty Quinn, St. Joseph's Hospital ICU Staff: Maria Drawn, Caroline Stephens, Stacy Cox, Liz Whipple, Stephanie Baoling, Diana Enders and Sirena Hale.

The family will be gathering at the home of Mrs. Rentz at 173 N. Brobston Street.
