Wendell White

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the memorial service for Mr. Wendell Carroll White, age 65, who passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at his residences in Effingham. Mr. White was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County and a retired maintenance engineer from Appling County Healthcare.

Mr. White is preceded in death by his parents, Odis and Lucille Williams White.

Surviving are his two sons, Wendell Cory White and Derick Taylor White; one brother, Jeffrey White (Kim); a special friend, Jan Maloof; and his former wife, Lafonda Lewis also survives.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. from the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Doug Weisel officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Appling County Food Bank P.O. Box 528 Baxley, Ga 31515 or the Appling County Pavilion Patient Fund 163 E. Tollison St. Baxley, Ga 31513.
