Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Mr. Waldo Lott, age 82, who passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at the Bacon County Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Appling County, a retired farmer, and a member of Red Oak Baptist Church.
Mr. Lott is preceded in death by his wife of sixty years, Tiffany Aycock Lott; his parents, George Washington and Margibell Gurley Lott; and three siblings, Millard Lott, Linzoris Lott, and Clyde Craven.
Surviving are his four children, Kim W. Lott, Karen P. Griffin (Cecil), Donna L. Johnson (Lonnie Jr.) and Sara L. Carter (Aaron) all of Baxley; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and a sister, Gethal Lott of Brunswick also survive.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Robbie Gill and Reverend Denny Waters officiating.
Interment will follow in the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Active Pallbearers are Timmy Wendell Lott, Derrick Johnson, Steven Johnson, Bryan Griffin, A.J. Carter, Justin Waldo Carter, Timothy Gage Lott, and Randy Branch.
Honorary Pallbearers are the Red Oak Community.
