Victor Lewis Sr

Miles - Nobles Funeral Home announces the services of Mr. Victor Eugene Lewis Sr., who passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014 at his residence under the care of Comfort Care Hospice. He was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County, a bee-keeper since the age of 18 retiring after 32 years in the business. Victor was a devoted son and a Baptist by faith.

He was preceded in death by a son, Victor Eugene Lewis Jr. and his father, Clinton Eugene Lewis.

Surviving is his daughter, Christine Mansfield of Hazlehurst; mother, Lue Myrtle and husband Herman Miller of Surrency; three sisters, LaFonda Lewis of Baxley, Jeannie and husband Mike Medders of Nichols and Rebecca and husband Bill Brady of Godwin, N.C.; one brother, Anthony Lewis and Christina Champion of Lakeland, FL; several nieces and nephews and other family also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 2 p.m. from the Miles - Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Ronnie Rentz officiating.

Interment will follow in the Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Tuesday.

Active Pallbearers will be Steve Spell, Samuel "Pebo" Hughes, Jerry Rozier, Chris Gardner, Bobby Woods and Shane Hampton.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Comfort Care Hospice, Wayne Turner, Charles Roach, Debbie Gibbs and Caroline Anderson.
