Velva Griffis

Miles – Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the death of Velva Griffis, age 56, who passed away Monday, June 13, 2016 at her residence. She was a native of Orlando, FL living in Baxley the past twenty-six years and a homemaker.

Surviving is her husband, Jerry Griffin of Baxley; three sons, Eric Pittman of Alberta, Canada, Shannon Bowers of Alabama and Corey Pittman of Alberta, Canada; one daughter, Lisa Marie Vance of Jesup; three grandchildren; brother, Billy Evans of Orlando; sister, Annette Harris of Orlando; two nephews, Ronald Johnson of Alabama and Jeff Johnson of Atlanta.

Memorial services will be held by the family at a later date.
