Tommy Overstreet

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Mr. Eugene T. "Tommy" Overstreet Jr. who passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah. Mr. Overstreet was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County and a retired Georgia Power employee. He was U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War.

Mr. Overstreet is preceded in death by a son, David Overstreet, his parents, Eugene Sr. and Annie Scott Overstreet, and a brother, David Overstreet.

Surviving is his wife, Kathleen Overstreet; two children, Billy Overstreet, and Gary Overstreet; four grandchildren, Nicholas Gene Overstreet, Britny Christine Overstreet, Devon Lang Overstreet, and Loren Eugene Overstreet; four great grandchildren; three sisters, Patricia Dyal (late husband Carroll), Debbie Preister (Barry), and Annette Smith (Jamie); numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. from the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Kenneth Kirkland officiating.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.
