Miles~Nobles Funeral Home announces the funeral services for Thelma Adams, age 71, who passed away Monday, April 20, 2015 at her daughters residence under the care of Spanish Oaks Hospice. She was a lifelong resident of Appling County; a retired seamstress and a member of Sand Hill Creek Freewill Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Beulah Mae Adams and two brothers, Donald Adams and Kenneth Adams.

Survivors include one daughter, Cindy and husband Nathan Wilcox of Baxley; one son, Danny and wife Teresa Hardwick of Baxley; one sister, Jewel Hollar of Baxley; three brothers, Lonnie Adams of Baxley, Willie Adams of Baxley and James Adams of Hazlehurst; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; a lifelong friend, Dean Spikes of Tattnall County; several nieces, nephews and other family also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 2 p.m. from the Miles~Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Allen Carter officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral services at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers will be Sand Hill Creek Freewill Baptist Church members, Spanish Oaks Hospice staff, Michael and Lori Hardwick, Tammy Lairsey and Danny Burns.
