Teresa Ann Johnson

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral services for Ms. Teresa Ann Johnson, age 56, who passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Memorial Health after a courageous battle with cancer. Ms. Johnson was a native and lifelong resident of Bacon County, was formerly employed with D.L. Lee and Sons, and attended Friendship Congregational Christian Church where she was saved. Teresa was the best mother and Nana T to her loving family.

Ms. Johnson is preceded in death by her father, Johnny Johnson; her mother, Frances Johnson Smart, her brother, Dewey Johnson; and sister, Melissa Johnson.

Surviving is her son, Lance Smith (Kelsee Leggett); brother, Roy Johnson (Lynn), grandchildren, Hunter Smith, Bryson Dubberly, and Karson Hill, stepfather, Randy Smart, a special aunt and caregiver, Vicki Kelley Johnson, siblings, Johnny Johnson Jr., Candace Medders, and Jennifer Johnson and her fur babies, Sugar, Sunshine, and Melissa.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, October 29, 2023, at 3:00 pm from the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Wayne Williamson officiating.

Interment will follow at Meeks Cemetery in Nicholls, Georgia.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Sunday at Nobles Funeral Home Chapel.

Active Pallbearers are Cody Johnson, Keith Johnson, Jimmy Streat, Matthew Herndon, Bryson Dubberly, and Hunter Smith.

 Honorary Pallbearers are all family and friends in attendance.
