Tammy Thompson

Tammy "Baby Girl" Thompson, 36, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital after an extended illness. She was a native of Wayne County and lived most of her life in Jesup. She was preceded in death by her son, Phillip Luther Lyons Jr. and father, Jimmy Thompson.

Survivors are a son, Alex Lyons of Blackshear; mother, June Garner of Baxley; two sisters, Susan Harris of Baxley and Melissa Williams of Baxley; a brother, James Thompson of Baxley and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 27, 2012 at 10 AM at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 27, 2012 at 11 AM at the David E. Miles Chapel with the Reverend Dennis Bryant officiating.

Interment will follow in the Odum City Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be James Dubberly, Ricky Thompson, Billy Davis, Jr., Jimmy Thompson, Matthew Shallar and Shawn Williams.
