Sgt. Aldo Acevedo-Jacome

Miles~Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the services for Sgt. Aldo Acevedo-Jacome, age 32, who passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016.  He was a native of Xalapa Vera Cruz, Mexico and a resident of the United States for the past 18 years.  He was a Chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear specialist with the United States Army assigned to DHHB at Ft. Stewart, GA.  He was a loving father, husband and son.

He was preceded in death by his father, Everardo Acevedo Meza.

Survivors include his wife, Jolene Acevedo of Ft. Stewart, GA; one daughter, Cydnea Acevedo of Ft. Stewart, GA; two sons, Tobias Acevedo and Jordan Acevedo of Ft. Stewart, GA; a mother, Rosa Elena Jacome-Montero of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Erika Schmidt and husband Phillip of Jacksonville, FL and Miriam Acevedo and husband Fernando Arce of Puebla, Mexico; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and other family also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 8, 2016 at 1pm at the Main Post Chapel on Ft. Stewart with Chaplin Edward Martin officiating with full military honors.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
