Sandy Pickren

Miles~Nobles Funeral Home announces the death of Sandy Pickren, 79, who passed away Monday, November 10, 2014 at Appling Health Care Systems. She was a native of Brooklynn, NY and had lived the past several years in Baxley.

Survivors include her husband, David Pickren of Baxley; four children, Mary Olesen and husband Steve of New Jersey, Sonya Sanchez of Loganville, GA, Glenn Bridges and wife Denise of Ohio and Guy Triano and wife Angel of South Carolina; two step children, Lin Buchanan and husband Tim of Tennessee and Al Pickren and wife Erika of Buena Vista, GA; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one brother, Jack Weinstein of Florida; several nieces, nephews and other family also survive.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 14, 2014 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11am at Friendship Congregational Christian Church with the Reverend Barry Teutsch officiating.

Entombment will follow in the Friendship Congregational Christian Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Eric Sanchez, Steven Olesen, Brian Olesen, Glenn Bridges, Roger Smiley and Donnie Smiley.
