R.V. Martin

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral services for Mr. R.V. Martin, age 60, who passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Appling Healthcare Systems. Mr. Martin was a native of Appling County, he was a retired construction worker and former employee with Hazlehurst Mills. Mr. Martin was a U.S. Army and GA National Guard Veteran.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Emma Jean Wilcox Martin; a brother, Elonzo Martin; a sister, Eyvonne Martin.

Surviving is his wife, Willene T. Martin; two daughters, Regina Tanner (Brian), Angel Martin; three grandchildren, Peyton Tanner, Mason Tanner, and Alyana Tanner; a sister, Susie Wilcox Medders (Larry); two sister in laws, Juanita Thomas and Donna Thomas; four cousins, Larry Pittman, Gary Pittman, Farris Dyal (Angie), Arvidane Dyal (Ellen); and his favorite companion Dixie also survive.

The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Doug Weisel officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dyal Family Cemetery with military honors.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Nobles Funeral Home Chapel.

Active Pallbearers will be Larry Crosby, Terry Crosby, Farris Dyal, Neil Capell, Fred Kirkland, and Clayton Errett.
