Ruby Laverne Rentz McDaniel

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Mrs. Ruby Laverne Rentz McDaniel, age 82, who passed away on October 24, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. McDaniel was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County, a homemaker, and a member of Midway Baptist Church.

Mrs. McDaniel is preceded in death by her parents; Herbert Joseph and Ruby Lee Hutto Rentz.

Surviving is her husband of 63 years, Wade McDaniel; two children, Sheila McDaniel Hand (William) and Gary Wade McDaniel (Carolyn McMillan); four grandchildren, Brett Hand (Haley), Lance Hand (Meg), Jeremy McDaniel (Alexiss), and Levi McDaniel; and two great granddaughters, Brynlee Hand and Faely-Kay McDaniel also survive.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at 11: A.M. from Midway Baptist Church with Reverend Wayne Williamson and Reverend Ron Ross officiating.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will follow in the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be David McDaniel, James McDaniel, Levi McDaniel, Jeremy McDaniel, Mike McDaniel, Brett Hand, and Lance Hand.

Honorary Pallbearers are the staff of Comfort Care Hospice, Dr. Clay Carter and staff, and all family and friends in attendance.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donation be made to Midway Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
