Ronald "Butch" Smith

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the death of Mr. Ronald “Butch” Smith, age 75, who passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at his residence in Alma. He was a native and lifelong resident of Bacon County.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Dea Smith; sister, Darnell Welch; and parents, Franklin and Artie Crosby Smith.

Surviving are his children, Stephanie (Ashley) Yawn and Kevin (Valerie) Boatright; grandchildren, Drew Yeomans, Cloe Yeomans, Stella White, Janalyn Yawn, Hudson Boatright, Lola Boatright and Jerry Gonzalez; sister, Patsy Smith Roberts (Wade) and a host of other family members also survive.

A memorial service will be held Friday, January 22, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. from Butch’s residence at 144 Terrior Trail in Alma.
