Miles - Nobles Funeral Home announces the services of Mr. Roger Clayton Aspinwall, who passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at his residence. He was a native of Appling County, a United States Navy Veteran and a member of Memorial Free Will Baptist Church. Mr. Aspinwall was a 32nd Degree Master Mason, served as Worshipful Master of the Doric Lodge, Stone Mountain Lodge and the Holmesville Lodge; was a Grand Royal Patron of GA; member of the Royal Order of the Amaranth, Scottish Rite, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Royal Order of Jesters, Knights of Mecca and served on the Boy Scouts of America District Committee. He was a computer engineer and owner and CEO of Dynetics Inc.
Mr. Aspinwall is survived by his wife, Iris Aspinwall of Odum; one son, Roger C. Aspinwall Jr. of Gainesville; two grandchildren, Roger C. Aspinwall III and wife Kristy of Buford and Dakota Shane Aspinwall of Mooresville, N.C.; one brother, James Aspinwall; two sisters, Lavonne Childers and Orita Griffis; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 2 p.m. with full Masonic Rights from the Miles - Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Amos McMillan officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the GA Masonic Children's Home in Macon GA at www.masonichomeofga.com or the Shriner's Children's Hospital at www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org.
The family will be gathering at the Aspinwall's home at 1661 Aldrich Rd. in Odum.
