Peggy Hall

Baxley- Peggy Hall, 60, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah after a brief illness. She was a lifelong resident of Appling County; the co-owner of Piddlers, Creekside Produce and Southern Star Gift World; a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a gift and blessing to her family and friends unique in her own way, exceptionally talented and creative in every aspect of her life. Her poems inspired many souls and her light shined bright in everyone's life that she touched. She was grateful and thankful for all her customers and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, M.C. and Nell Corbitt and grandchildren, Marty Sanders and Tyler Willis Barlow.

Survivors are her husband, Randall Hall of Baxley; two daughters, April Barlow-Carter of Baxley and Alisha Hall of Dothan, AL; two sisters, Cathy Chancey of Waycross and Kay Tanner of Axson, GA; one brother, Martin C. Corbitt of Hazlehurst; five grandchildren, Brittney Moore, Kyle Cook, Candice Moore, Dylen Sanders and Alexis Moore.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 11 am at Midway Baptist Church with the Reverend Marty Anderson and Reverend Earnest Dyal officiating.

Interment will follow in the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Tom Tanner, Chris Corbitt, Grant Corbitt, Chance Harrell, Kyle Cook, Dylen Sanders, Stacy Mobley and Casey Jones.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie and Brenda Mobley, Rickey and Barbara Hall, Larry and Sherry Surrency, Casey and Kim Jones, Colby Brauda, Brittney, Candice and Alexis Moore.
