Pauline Jennings

Pauline Jennings, a beloved member of the Surrency Community Bible Church and a talented seamstress, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2024, at her residence. She was born on September 1, 1936, in Sheldon, MO and led a remarkable life filled with love, dedication, and artistic flair. Pauline was adored by her family, friends, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

As a young woman, Pauline found joy and fulfillment in sewing. In 1989, she took a leap of faith and became the proud owner of her own sewing business. Her remarkable skills and attention to detail quickly gained recognition in her community. She then went on to work at The Sewing Basket in Jesup, GA where she continued to pursue her passion for creating beautiful garments for others. She brought joy to countless individuals by adding her personal touch to their special occasions.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Jennings; her mother, Edith June Wooldridge; and five siblings: Doris Raburn, Kenneth Wooldridge, Freda Baker, Lester Wooldridge, and Larry Wooldridge. Although they are no longer here with us physically, their memory will forever live in our hearts.

Pauline leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will continue to inspire generations to come. She is survived by her loving daughter "Debi" Hunter (Frank). Debi was not only Pauline's daughter but also her closest friend and confidant. Their bond was unbreakable as they navigated through life's ups and downs together. Pauline was also a beloved grandmother to Frank Hunter (Heather) and Melissa Hunter (Jimmy Anderson) who brought her immeasurable joy and pride. She cherished watching him grow into the compassionate and talented individual he became. Pauline's great-grandchildren, Gabby Hunter, Kade Hunter, Evan Eastmead, Cooper Hunter, and Ryland Hunter, were the light of her life. She found endless delight in their laughter, innocence, and boundless energy. Pauline often reminisced about her own childhood and cherished the opportunity to create lasting memories with her great-grandchildren.

In addition to her immediate family, Pauline is survived by three siblings: Ester Martin of Twin Falls, Idaho; Donald Wooldridge; and Berta Mae Anderson (Jerl), both of Eldorado Springs, MO. The bond between siblings is irreplaceable, and Pauline treasured those relationships dearly. Their shared memories and experiences will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

Pauline Jennings will be remembered for her unwavering faith in God, her warm smile that lit up any room she entered, and her ability to find beauty in every aspect of life. She inspired us all with her resilience and determination to pursue her passion until the very end.
