Paula Thompson

Paula Marie Thompson, 46, passed away Monday, July 22, 2013 after a short illness. She was born December 13, 1966 in Athens, GA and had lived the past 34 years in Baxley.

Survivors include her three daughters, Sierra and Aaron Smith of Baxley, Vickie Thompson of Baxley and Allie and Jimmy Sigmon of Adrian; two grandchildren, Tommy Baxley and Carlie Smith; one sister, Tammie and Gary Orvin of Baxley; mother and step father, Shirley and Wayne Peterson of Baxley; father and step mother, Ronnie and Donna Thompson of Hollyhill, FL; one niece, Ashley and Derek Griffis of Baxley; two very special friends, Tammy Taylor of Walkerville and Linda Linam of Baxley.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 4 pm at Miles~Nobles Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm prior to funeral services on Thursday.

Interment will follow in the Omega Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Gary Orvin, Derek Griffis, Buddy Dixon, Randy Evans, Tony Rowell, and Aaron Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be employees of KFC in Baxley.

The family will be gathering at the home of Gary and Tammie Orvin at 2504 Prentiss Road, Baxley, GA 31513.

Miles~Nobles Funeral Home will be in charge of these arrangements.
