Otis Lynn Beecher

Miles~Nobles Funeral Home announces the death of Otis Lynn Beecher, 67, who passed away Friday, September 12, 2014 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Plain View, TX and had lived in Appling County for the past 26 years. He was a member and deacon of Harmony Baptist Church; a member and past Master of Plain View Lodge #709 F. &.A.M. Mr. Beecher loved working and helping others and singing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry Lynn and Blanch May Beecher and sister, Brenda Beecher.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Elaine Beecher of Surrency; one son, Robert Lynn Beecher of Surrency; two sisters, Shelly Beecher of Rome, GA and Kathryn Gemelarro of Amarillo, TX, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Harmony Baptist Church with Reverend Samuel Holland and Reverend Carlton Rowell officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral services on Tuesday.
Interment will follow in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic Rights.

Active pallbearers will be James Mark Boatwright, Joseph Pearce, Jr., Benjie Pearce, Jason Pearce, Christopher Pearce, Timothy McCellan, Scott Cooper and Brad Rentz.

Honorary pallbearers will be Harmony Baptist Church members, Surrency Community Bible Church members, Joseph and Barbara Pearce, Keith and Vicki Pearce, Bernie and Wanda Pearce, Glynn and Lisa Pearce and Rita and Tommy Hutto.
