Nellie Fay Sellers Pipkin

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Ms. Nellie Fay Sellers Pipkin, age 79, who passed away Monday, January 15, 2024, at the Pavilion under the care of Comfort Care Hospice. Ms. Pipkin was a lifelong resident of Appling County. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was employed by Thimble Square and Douglas and Harper where she was an inspector.

Ms. Pipkin is preceded in death by her husband of twenty-four years, Harry W. Pipkin; and her parents, Cecil Mitchell and Nellie Long Sellers.

Surviving are her two children, Teressa F. Weeks (Clarence) and Christopher W. Pipkin both of Baxley; four grandchildren, Ethan Edwards (Katyln), Chandler Edwards (Brittney), Sharon Weeks, Kenzi Evans (Wesley) all of Baxley, and Brittney Pelfrey (Justin) of Rockwood, TN; six great grandchildren, Bradley Evans, Emily Evans, Ryleigh Evans all of Baxley, James Lewis, Brilee Lewis both of Hazlehurst, and Carter Pipkin of Rockwood, TN; a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. from the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ronnie Rentz officiating.

Interment will follow in the Satilla Baptist Church Cemetery.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Nobles Funeral Home Chapel.

Active Pallbearers are Steve Craven, Chandler Edwards, Ethan Edwards, Mitch Altman, Cole Altman, and Randy Thomas.

Honorary pallbearers are all in attendance.
