Montgomery Berry Hazzard

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the graveside service for Mr. Montgomery Berry Hazzard, age 86, who passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022, at his residence in Guyton, under the care of Arcadia Hospice of Pooler, Ga. Mr. Hazzard was born February 28, 1935, in Savannah to the late Montogomery Berry Hazzard Sr. and Pearl Carter Hazzard Bonnette. He was a retired boilermaker with Local # 26 in Statesboro and a member of Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents Mr. Hazzard is preceded in death by two children, Allen B. Hazzard, and Julie Diane Ellis; one grandson, Caleb W. Hazzard; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Martha and “M.H.” Brewton, and Elaine Hazzard.

Surviving is his wife of sixty-four years, Carolyn B. Hazzard of Guyton; one son, Wayne Hazzard of Guyton; two grandchildren, Raquel Hazzard of Los Angeles, CA and Joshua A. Ellis (Rachel) of Clanton, AL; three grandchildren, Mary Jo Ellis, Julie Anne Ellis, and Carolina Ellis of Clanton, AL.

The graveside service will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 2:00 P.M from the Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Joshua A. Ellis and music by Rachel Ellis.

Honorary Pallbearers are the members of Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church, Staff of Arcadia Hospice of Pooler, and friends and family members who have prayed faithfully for the Hazzard Family.
