Montee & Gloria Eason

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the memorial service for Mr. Montee and Mrs. Gloria Eason.

Milford Montee Eason, age 91, born October 20th, 1930, in Surrency, Georgia to James Park Eason and Effie Mae Swinson Eason, passed away December 4th, 2021, in Ocala, Florida.

Gloria Fay Daugherty Eason, age 79, born May 13th, 1935, in Rome, Georgia to Albert Westley Daugherty and Grace Lucile Fricks Daugherty passed away September 10th, 2014, in Ocala, Florida.

Gloria a social worker, wife, mother, and grandmother journeyed from Rome to Florida State University and Tulane University before meeting Monty in Atlanta.

Montee a farmer, Army Veteran, accountant, husband, father, and grandfather journeyed from Baxley to Athens, arriving in Atlanta. Together Monty and Gloria moved with their three children to Birmingham, Michigan before returning home to the south in Ocala, Florida.

This summer Montee and Gloria together forever will return to South Georgia to lay in peace.

With great happiness Monty and Gloria Fay Daugherty Eason survive in the fond memories of their son James Park Eason, daughter Tara Leigh Eason Potter (grand-daughter Ariel Hartford) and son Wesley Todd Eason, and friends to cats.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 11am at Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Rick Brown officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
