Molly Burkhalter Horton

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral services of Ms. Molly Burkhalter Horton, age 80, who passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Memorial Health Meadows in Vidalia. Ms. Horton was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County, a retired store clerk, and a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Garrey Horton Sr., grandson, Matthew Horton, and parents, Fleming Morris, and Bessie Barber Morris.

Surviving is a son, Brian Horton (Terrie), stepsons, Leonard Horton, and Gary Horton (Tammy), stepdaughter, Jenny Creamer (James), granddaughters, Bre Cooper, Brittiny Carter (Dalton); four step grandchildren, eight greatgrandchildren, sisters, Mary Conner, and Dot Beecher, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 14, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. from the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gary Horton officiating.

Interment will follow in the Red Oak Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.

Active Pallbearers are Brian Horton, Michael Bolts, Greg Strickland, and Josh Horton.

Honorary Pallbearers are the Pavilion Staff, the ICU Staff of Memorial Health Meadows, and the Baxley Housing Authority.
