Michael (Casey) Tomberlin

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the death of Mr. Michael (Casey) Tomberlin, age 48, who passed away in Baxley on July 22, 2021. Mr. Tomberlin was a lifelong and native resident of Appling County. He was the owner of CornerStone Construction for the last 20 years. He was a hard worker, generous giver, loving father, loving husband, had a heart of gold, and loved to coon hunt.

Surviving is his wife, Kim Tomberlin; three sons, Corey Tomberlin (Breanna), Halen Tomberlin, and Peyton Tomberlin; one grandson, Hunter Tomberlin; his father, Michael Tomberlin; and his mother, Rita and Willard Lightsey; and five sisters, Knickie Eason (James), Katina Alexander (Shawn), Bridgette McDaniel, Grier Sikes (Daniel), Jackie Carter (Justin) and Rose Tomberlin also survive.

A private family graveside service will be held with the Reverend Lamar Lee and Vern Howard officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Michael Woodard, Glenn Smith, Daniel Sikes, James Eason, Mark McDaniel, Timothy Combee.

Honorary pallbearers are the residents of the Damascus House.
