Miles - Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the services of Melanie Presley Tillman, age 54, who passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Candler Hospital in Savannah. She was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County and the owner of Melanie's Gifts. She was a member of Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church and the Appling County High school class of 1979.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Willie Tillman of Baxley; two sons, Jessie Tillman and wife Jennifer of Surrency and Jody Tillman and wife Nicole of Baxley; four grandchildren, Presley Tillman, Jace Tillman, Brady Tillman and Tucker Tillman; mother, Mary Sue Presley of Surrency; three sisters, Belinda Johnson and husband Glenn of Baxley, Carol Williams and husband Charlie of Surrency and Glenda Thompson and husband John of Glennville; one sister in-law, Holly Carter; several nieces, nephews and other family also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11am at Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church with the Reverend Tommy Daniels, Reverend Rick Brown and Reverend Jim Snell officiating.

Interment will follow in the Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 30, 2015 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Active pallbearers will be Josh Branch, Kenny Nail, Jerrod Quinn, Jacob Johnson, Darrell Taylor and Skip Milton.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gideon's International at gideons.org.
