Mary Frances Smart

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral services for Mrs. Frances Johnson Smart, age 70, who passed away Monday, October 31, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Smart was a lifelong resident of Bacon County and a retired seamstress with Oxford Manufacturing. She was the best wife, mother, and grandmother to her loving family.

Preceding her in death are her children, Dewey Johnson and Melisa Johnson, great grandson, Luka Johnson, brother, Lloyd Adams, and parents, W.C. and Odenia Johnson.

Surviving is her husband, Randy Smart, children, Roy Johnson (Lynn) and Teresa Johnson, grandchildren, Kamie Johnson, Dewey Johnson, Lance Smith, Keith Johnson, Cody Johnson Hannah Sickles, and Matthew Herndon, great grandchildren, Bryson Smith, and Hunter Smith, sisters, Elaine Lee, Karen McCarty, Willene Rigdon, and Vickie Kelley.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 12:00 P.M. from the chapel of Nobles Funeral Home with the Reverend Hal Jeffcoat and Reverend Ryan Wilson officiating.

Interment will follow in Meeks Cemetery in Nichols.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday.

Active Pallbearers are Keith Johnson, Cody Johnson, Lance Smith, Jimmy Street, Blaine Rigdon, and Wayne Rigdon.

Honorary Pallbearers are the staff of GHC Hospice, Jeanette Parker, Jimmy and Sandra Newell.
