Marshall Moore

David E. Miles Funeral Home announces the death and funeral service for Marshall Moore, age 63, of Baxley who passed away Tuesday in the Carl Vinson Medical Center in Dublin. He was born November 23, 1948, in Greenwood, S.C. and had resided in Appling County for most of his life. He was employed with Dwain I. G. A in the meat market. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW Post 4583 and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 26. Mr. Moore was a member of Midway Baptist Church and was the son of the late Jessie Lee Moore and the late Billie Hunter Moore.
He is survived by his wife, Lorine G. Moore of Baxley; three sons, David Ray Moore of Loctus Grove, GA, Brian Lamar Moore and Wife Pamela of Alma, and Chris Moore and wife, Wendy of Baxley; five grandchildren, Michael Moore, April Moore, Jordan and Joshua Moore and Natahlie Moore.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at David E. Miles Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday in the chapel of David E. Miles Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Conger officiating. Interment will follow in the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family is assembling at the residence on Nails Ferry Road.
