Miles - Nobles Funeral Home announces the services of Marilyn Eleanor Jenkins, age 58, who passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Appling Healthcare Systems. She was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County and an employee of Middle Georgia Probation Service. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and daughter and a friend to all who knew her. She was the life of the party, enjoyed spending time with family and shopping.

Marilyn was loved by Dennis Jenkins and her lifelong partner Kevin Green.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Sikes and a brother, Oscar "OZ" Sikes.

She is survived by her two daughters and sons -in-law, Angel and Nick Dykstra and Dawn Jenkins and Neil Reynolds; six grandchildren, Skyler, Memphis and Hunter Nobles, Aiygan "Pookie" Dykstra and Casey and Kaleb Reynolds; her mother, Gladys Sikes; six brothers and sisters, Susan and Melvin Johnson of Washington, GA, Sandra and Billy Smith of Reidsville, Marie and Ronnie Lamb of Baxley, Danny and Jeannie Sikes of Baxley, Connie and Kelly Anderson of Mt. Vernon and Carolyn and Corey Griffin of Baxley and nieces and nephews and other family also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 27, 2015 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Miles - Nobles Funeral Home with the Reverends Rick Brown, Kelly Anderson and Justin McClellan officiating.

Interment will follow in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Active Pallbearers will be Chavis Griffin, Skyler Nobles, Donnie Rentz, Ronald Rowell, Ryan Watts and Kevin Thomas.

Honorary Pallbearers will be all friends and family in attendance.
