Margaret Lucille Black Hutcheson

Miles~Nobles Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Margaret Lucille Black Hutcheson, age 82, who passed away Monday, August, 25, 2014 at the Pavilion under the care of Southern Care Hospice. She was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County. Mrs. Hutcheson retired from Appling Healthcare as the Director of Medical Records. She was a member, former Sunday school teacher and song leader of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Anthony Hutcheson, Jr.; a brother, Robert Earl Black and a sister, Myrtle Ruth Jones.

Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Weaver and husband Cleve of Baxley and Janet Dean and husband Lewis of Baxley; five grandsons, Scott Weaver, Bryan Weaver, Ross Weaver, Kyle Weaver and Adam Dean; one granddaughter, Amy Myers; eight great grandchildren; three brothers, Dale Black and wife Hilda of Baxley, Wendell Black and wife Lawanna of Jacksonville, FL and James W. Black of Jacksonville, FL; one sister in-law, Vonice Black; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 11am at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Reverend Bobby Brinkley, Reverend Billy Gardner and Reverend Charles Carter officiating.

Mrs. Hutcheson will lie in state one hour prior to services on Thursday.

Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Scott Weaver, Bryan Weaver, Ross Weaver, Kyle Weaver, Adam Dean, Mitch Myers and Amy Myers.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Pleasant Grove Adult Sunday school class, Elaine Williams, Lori Futch, Sherry Futch, Yolanda Mitchell-Smith and Ruby Joiner.
