Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Ms. Lucille R. Adkins, age 77, who passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Bacon County Hospital. Ms. Adkins was a resident of Appling County for the past thirty-eight years.
Ms. Adkins is preceded in death by her parents, Estel and Gladys Roberts; two children, Donnie Lee Adkins and Tammie Lee Salisbury; one grandchild, Teresa Annette Adkins; and four siblings, Laurence Howard Roberts, Betty Dane Roberts, Linda Sue Roberts, and Maxine Roberts Potter.
Surviving are her three children, Roy Adkins, Katherine Adkins Dixon, and Patricia Moore (Lonnie); fifteen grandchildren, Greg Dixon, Jeremy Rogers, Vanessa Adkins, Keyona Moore, Alyssa Moore, Myeisha Moore, Blake Adkins, Marissa Turchi, Anthony Estrada, Amy Adkins, Dakota Adkins, Camden Adkins, Meagan Adkins, Aaron Partin, and Danielle Youngblood; six great grandchildren; and three siblings, Jordan Roberts, Edna Burton, William Billy Roberts; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
The funeral service will be held Monday, March 6, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. from the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Rick Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in the Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
Active Pallbearers are Greg Dixon, Jeremy Rogers, Semaj Goethie, Pete Wright, Chady Witty, Shelly Witty, and Darrell Beasley.
