CLAXTON/RICHMOND HILL: Loraine Womble, 30, passed away Wednesday night, November 6, 2013, as the result of an automobile accident. Loraine lived her short life with gusto, charming those who had the pleasure of crossing her path. She was a passionate, bright and driven woman that never backed down from a challenge.
Loraine was born in Claxton, Georgia, on April 14, 1983. She graduated from Claxton High School and attended Armstrong Atlantic University where she received a Bachelor degree in Respiratory Therapy and a Masters degree in Public Health Administration. She used her training to help many during her employment at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, GA.
SURVIVORS: Loraine is survived by her parents, Teri (Stephen) Bell of Savannah, John (Yo Bok Seon) Womble and her step-father, Ben Brinson, all of Claxton; her grandparents, Mrs. Shirley Womble and the late Ira S. Womble of Claxton, David and Louise Miles of Baxley, GA., and the late Shirley Brinson of Augusta; two brothers, Jeremiah (Amy) Womble of Statesboro and Larry (Jenny) Summerlin of Kennesaw, GA.; a sister, Sarah Womble of Statesboro; her loving boyfriend, Mason Clark of Richmond Hill, GA.; five aunts, Maria Miles of Baxley, Debra Womble of Rome, Donna Carter of Folkston, Ginger (John) Dobbs of Augusta and Carol (Ray) Tuten, of Lincolnton; two uncles, Remer (Laura) Brinson and Bill (Ruth) Brinson, all of Augusta; a step-brother, Michael Bell of Nashville, TN; a step-sister, Trisha Bell of Atlanta; and her dogs, Pickle and Chewy, and her cats, Megatron and Tink; and several other relatives.
VISITATION: Saturday, November 9, 2013, 5-7:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Sunday, November 10, 2013, 2:00 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Brewton Cemetery, Hagan, GA.
