Miles~Nobles Funeral Home announces the death of Lisa Washam Hazlett, 52, who passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Meadows Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Appling County and had lived in Jacksonville, FL for the past 30 years. She was a Logistics Coordinator at Yusen Logistics.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmie Lee Washam, Sr.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Schellenberg of Neptune Beach, FL; a son, Blake Birdwell of Atlantic Beach, FL; mother, Odessa Washam of Baxley; a brother, Jimmy Lee Waham, Jr. and wife Lori of Hazlehurst; a sister, Karen Mayhew and husband Steve of Vidalia; two nephews, Jeremy Lightsey of Acworth and Justin Washam and wife Amanda of Hazlehurst; a niece, Kara Harrell and husband Joshua of Remerton, GA; a great nephew, Eagan Washam; a special companion, Sonny and several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 2-4pm at Friendship Congregational Christian Church.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 21, 2014 at 4pm at Friendship Congregational Christian Church with the Reverend Barry Teutsch and Reverend Bill Stone officiating.

Interment will follow in the Friendship Congregational Christian Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Jason Baxley, Chris Baxley, David Sickle, Stacy Mobley, Michael Hall and Mark Baxley.

Honorary pallbearers will be all in attendance.
