Miles - Nobles Funeral Home announces the funeral services of Lillian F. Herrin, age 81, who passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Pavilion under the care of Spanish Oaks Hospice. She was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County, a retired seamstress and a member of Friendship Congregational Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Herrin; her parents, A.A. and Lucy Ann McLean; one brother, Richard McLean; and two sisters, Laree Harrison and Louise Whaley.

She is survived by her two sons, Donnie Gibbs and Robbie Gibbs; one sister, Lacae Smith; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 23, 2015 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Miles - Nobles Funeral Home with the Reverends Barry Teutsch and Chris Nail officiating
.
Interment will follow in the Zoar Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Monday.

Active Pallbearers will be Dennis Foskey, Carlos Brown, Wade Smith, Wayne Smith and Danny Miller.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Ladies of Friendship Congregational Christian Church, Employees of the Pavilion, Dr. Evelyn Johnson and the Spanish Oaks Hospice Staff.
