Kendil Griffin

Miles~Nobles Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Kendil Griffin, 70, who passed away Monday, January 20, 2014 at Jesup Healthcare under the care of Southern Care Hospice. He was a native of Appling County and had lived the past 37 years in Jesup. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos Martin and Bessie Nail Griffin.

Survivors include his two brothers, Carlton Griffin of Baxley and Leland and Cecile Griffin of Baxley; one sister, Louise Griffin Sellers of Ludowici; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2014 form 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 3pm at the Miles~Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Andrew Williams, Reverend Marty Anderson and Reverend Bobby Brinkley officiating.

Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Greg Evans, Michael Evans, Ryan Christian, Brandon Griffin, Jared Griffin and Neal Griffin.

Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Southern Care Hospice and Jesup Healthcare.

The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to Southern Care Hospice at 2311 East First Street, Suite B, Vidalia, GA 30474.
