Karen Sue Kersey

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the services for Ms. Karen Sue Kersey, age 67, who passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022, at her residence. Ms. Kersey was a longtime resident of Appling County, and a homemaker. She was a loving mother and grandmother and loved her pets.

Ms. Kersey is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Kersey Sr.; a daughter, Gretchen “Necie” Kersey; her parents, W.L. and Beulah Holton; a brother, Tommy Holton.

Surviving is her son, Willie “Pedro” Kersey Jr. (Jennifer); three grandchildren, Brittany Kersey (Diego Aguiar), Leah Kersey, and Olivia Kersey; three siblings, Kathye Hall, William Holton, and Stevie Holton; and members of the Kersey family also survive.

The graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at 3:00 P.M. from Omega Cemetery with Reverend Charles Smith officiating.

The visitation will be held on Sunday beginning at 1:00 P.M. from the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel.
