Johnnie Peacock

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Mr. Johnnie Peacock, age 84, who passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Comfort Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wadley.  Mr. Peacock was a native of Appling County, U.S. Army Veteran, and retired cabinet maker.

Mr. Peacock is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Icard Peacock, parents, Hurbert and Willie Gruber Peacock, and Aunt Net and Uncle Morris.

Surviving are several children, grandchildren, siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and a special old friend Milton Dill.

The graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Deen Cemetery with Reverend Justin McLellan officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org/ or any mental health organization.
