JoAnne Duncan

Miles~Nobles Funeral Home announces the death of JoAnne Edwards Duncan, age 70, who passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at the Pavilion. She was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County. She was a member of Melton's Chapel Methodist Church and a retired dietician with Baxley Manor.

She was preceded in death by her father Wilton Edwards.

Survivors include two sons, Wilton and wife Cathy Duncan of Hazlehurst and Steven Duncan of Baxley; mother, Iva Lee Griffin of Baxley; three grandchildren, Emory Duncan, Breanna Duncan and Amber Duncan; one brother, Doyle and wife Teresa Edwards of Baxley; three sisters, Trinney Hardesty, Doris Davis and Kay and husband Larry Morris all of Baxley; one step sister, Ruby Ford of St. Augustine; a host of nieces, nephews and other family.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 2pm at Baxley Christian Center with Reverend Roger Daniels officiating.

Visitation will be held form 12-2pm prior to funeral services on Thursday at Baxley Christian Center.

Interment will follow at Melton Chapel Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Ethan Edwards, Chandler Edwards, Mikey Dyal and Trevor Dickinson.
