Joan Leggett

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Ms. Joan Carroll Dyer Leggett, age 78, who passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at her residence. Ms. Leggett was a native of Rome, Ga living the past fifty years in Baxley. She was a retired homemaker and a member of Oak Grove Church of God.

Ms. Leggett is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Leggett, and her parents, Robert and Elizabeth Carroll.

Surviving is her children, Kenneth Dyer (Sonya) of McKenzie, TN and Angela Drummond (Kyle) of Baxley; four grandchildren, Amanda Yearty (Adam), Matt Foster, Nick Foster (Amy), and Kasie Drummond (Landon Lindsay); and three great grandchildren, Randa Yearty, Gracie Yearty, and Lucy Foster also survive.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, November 14, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Brittney Parete officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow in the Wesley Chapel Church Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers are Nick Foster, Matt Foster, Kasie Drummond, Landon Lindsay, and Kenneth Dyer.
