Miles - Nobles Funeral Home announces the funeral services of Mr. James Edward "Jimmy" Stone, who passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015 at his residence under the care of Comfort Care Hospice. He was a lifelong resident of Appling County; a United States Army Veteran; was a foreman with Hunter Johnson Lumber Company retiring after 37 years of service and a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death was his parents, Milledge and Lessie Stone; four brothers, George Stone, Martin Stone, Earl Stone and Donald "Peanut" Stone and one sister, Monee Williams.

Surviving is his wife of 55 years, Emma Lee Stone; two daughters, Vonda Stone and Chiquitta and husband Johnny Baucom; four grandchildren, Zack Stone, Colby Baucom, Tyler Stone and fiancAC. Taylor Kersey and Randi Baucom; two great-grandchildren, Remington Stone and Cabella Stone and other family also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 12, 2015 at 2 p.m. from the Miles - Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Gary Conger officiating.

Interment will follow in the Graham United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Active Pallbearers will be Zack Stone, Tyler Stone, Colby Baucom, Johnny Baucom, Jared Yawn, Barry Sharpe, Michael Sharpe and Ryan Horne.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of Faith Baptist Church, Comfort Care Hospice and Pineland Mental Health Staff.
