Miles - Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the services of Jesse Morgan "Buck" Wilson Jr. who passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015 at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Chatham County, a graduate of Tompkins High School, an employee at Stone Container for 20 years and a 10 year employee of the Herty Foundation. Buck loved hunting and fishing and was a kind and good hearted person who loved taking care of others.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Morgan Wilson Sr.
Surviving is his mother, Earline Wilson of Garden City; two sons, Chad and wife Misty Wilson of Savannah and Mitchell and wife Krystal Wilson of Bloomingdale; one brother, Bruce Wilson of Springfield; three sisters, Tammy and husband Scott Schuman, Janet and husband Raymond Jenkins and Karen and husband Karl Nelson all of Guyton; six grandchildren, Andy, Anna, Katlin, Brianna, Donnie and Conner; special aunt and uncle, Rita and Felton Rewis in which Buck served as their caretaker; several nieces and nephews and other family also survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Fairhaven Funeral Home in Garden City with the Reverend Tom Davis officiating.
Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Lake Cemetery in Metter.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Fairhaven Funeral Home.
