Miles~Nobles Funeral Home announces the funeral services for Jerry W. Youngblood, age 56, who passed away Monday, April 13, 2015 at his residence under the care of Southern Care Hospice. He was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County; a retired road construction worker and a member of Appling Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Jessie Lee Youngblood.
Survivors include one daughter, Chrystal James of Baxley; four special children he helped raise, Maria Alvarez, Leann Herrington, Janell Willoughby and Tonya "Frog" Willoughby all of Baxley; one brother, Henry Jesse Youngblood and wife Francine of Surrency; one niece, Rebecca Swanger of Baxley; three grandchildren and thirteen special grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 17, 2015 at 4pm at Miles~Nobles Funeral Home with the Reverend Doug Weisel and Mitchell Jones officiating.
Interment will follow in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
Active pallbearers will be Brian Bryant, Pablo Mojica, Stevie Futch, Mark Nails, Carlos Hand and Owen Herrington.
Honorary pallbearers will be Southern Care Hospice staff.
