Jerry Rowell

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the graveside service for Mr. Jerry M. Rowell, age 74, who passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Community Hospice in Vidalia. Mr. Rowell was a native of Appling County. He was a retired auto parts clerk and a member of Friendship Congregational Christian Church.

Mr. Rowell is preceded in death by a son, Chad Rowell, a great granddaughter, Braelyn Rowell, and his parents, Quitman, and Snow Stone Rowell.

Surviving is his wife of fifty-five years, Sharon Sellers Rowell; two children, Michael Rowell (Melissa) and Tiffany Rowell; five grandchildren, Danielle Rowell, Cory Rowell, Nathan Rowell, Ashton Landing, and Tristan Rowell; and three great grandchildren, Bentley Rowell, Ember Rowell, Grayson Hindman.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 15, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. from Friendship Congregational Christian Church Cemetery with Reverend Tom McCoy officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 14, 2023, from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the chapel of Nobles Funeral Home.
