Jerry Mincey

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the death of Mr. Jerry Mincey, age 58, who passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at HCA Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Fl. Mr. Mincey was a native of Appling County and a retired electrician with twenty-eight years at CAB and Quality Electrical.

Mr. Mincey is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Mincey; his grandfather, Mann Carter; his grandmother, Willie Lee Pendarvis; and his grandmama, Mary Carter.

Surviving is two children, J.J. Mincey and Wendy Brewer (Cole); two stepchildren, Kevin Mann and Crystie Gruber; three grandchildren, Karson Galbreath, Karter Galbreath, and Kace Galbreath; two step grandchildren, Madeline Gruber (Doodle) and Madison Gruber; his mother, Diane Carter Vickers; and four siblings, Timothy Dyal, Jerome Mincey, Gerald Mincey, and Angela Roberts; a special little boy, his fishing partner “fitbit” Jeffery Ammons; a special friend Louise Mincey.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at  Carter Cemetery.
