Miles – Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral services of Jeffery Levi Ammons, Sr., age 50, who passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County; the owner and operator of Ammons Masonry and attended the Church of God of Prophecy.
Surviving is his parents; J.L. and Bernice Ammons of Baxley and Doris and Wesley “Charlie” Brown of Abbeville, AL; children, Thomas Jefferson “T.J.” and Amber Ammons of Tattnall County, Jessica Lynn Lingane of Michigan and Jeffery Levi Ammons, Jr. of Baxley; six grandchildren; brother, Robbie and Christy Ammons of Baxley; half-brother, Logan Ammons of Baxley; step brother, Michael Cary of Piedmont, Missouri; step-sister, Alyce Smith of Snipesville; one step sister on the Brown side of family and four step brothers on the Brown side of family.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 24, 2016 at 11 a.m. from the Miles – Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends Phillip Lawson and John Hutto officiating.
Interment will follow in the Omega Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday morning one hour prior to services.
Active Pallbearers will be Eddie Hunter, Dustin Hunter, Edsel Hunter, Dakota Smith, Joshua Miller and Josh Spell.
Honorary Pallbearers will be all in attendance.
The family will be gathering at the home of J.L. and Bernice Ammons at 203 Mauldin Street.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to a charity of your choice.
