Jean Roberson

Miles~Nobles Funeral Home announces the death of Jean Roberson, 59, who passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County and a retired CNA at Appling Nursing Home.

Survivors include eight brothers and sisters, Buddy Roberson and wife Karen of Cochran, Larry Roberson of Baxley, D.L. Roberson of Baxley, Susan C. Hall of Baxley, Diane Batton and husband Sammy of Hazlehurst, Beth Reeves of Hazlehurst, Richard Roberson, Sr. of Baxley and Michael Roberson and wife Jan of Blackshear; a special friend, Tressa Adams of Brunswick; special niece and nephew, Richard Roberson, Jr. and Tana Roberson whom she helped raise; several nieces, nephews and great nephews also survive.

Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, November 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Friendship Congregational Church Cemetery with the Reverend Bryant Bishop officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral services at the cemetery.

Interment will follow.

Active pallbearers will be family members.

Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Stan's Pharmacy.
