Miles-Nobles Funeral Home announces the death of Janie Elizabeth Yawn Deen, 70, who passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013. She was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County. She was a homemaker and attended Zion Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Denny Darling Deen and grandson, Anthony Paul Tanner.

Survivors include her four daughters, Tersea Eason and husband Clyde of Saint Mary's, Pattie Tanner of Baxley, Marie Johnson and husband Richard of Baxley and Rhonda Davis and husband Kip of Baxley; eight grandchildren, Christy Raby, Joshua Eason, Mitchell Eason, Scottie Tanner, Jennifer Tanner, Taylor Johnson, Nicole King and Ayla Morton; thirteen great grandchildren; ten brothers and sisters; several nieces, nephews and other family also survive.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 18, 2013 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Memorial services will follow Friday, October 18, 2013 at 8pm at the Miles~Nobles Funeral Home Chapel.
