James E. Johnson

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the services for Mr. James E. Johnson, age 67, who passed away Friday, May 24, 2019 at the Bacon County Hospital. Mr. Johnson was a native and lifelong resident of Bacon County, a retiree of Hazlehurst Mills and a retired bus river with the Bacon County Board of Education.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by parents, J.B. and Mary Johnson.

He is survived by a son, Shane and wife Vicki Johnson of Alma; three grandchildren, Dylan and wife Mikayla Johnson, Devin Johnson and Allyssa Waters and Cory Johnson all of Alma; one sister, Latrelle McCook of Alma; his furry companion, Sweetie Johnson and three nieces also survive.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
