Ivy Elouise Beasley Taylor

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the death of Mrs. Ivy Elouise Beasley Taylor, age 92, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Community Hospice in Vidalia.

Mrs. Taylor was born December 20, 1931, in Appling County to the late Phoye Beasley and the late Sallie Mae Beasley. She was a member of Spring Branch Baptist Church, Women of Praise Sunday School Class, a licensed Hair Stylist, Floral Designer, member of the Classy Canasta Ladies, the Daughters of the American Revolution and loved traveling.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Taylor, brothers, Jimmy Beasley, and Johnnie Beasley, and sister, Betty Jean Beasley.

Survivors include her sons, Micky (Jan) Crabb of Vero Beach, Florida, and David Taylor Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida; daughters Debbie (Jerry) Cantrell of Ailey, Georgia and Denice (Doug) McClain of Baxley, Georgia; twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. from the chapel of Nobles Funeral Home with Reverend Marcus Taylor, Reverend David Taylor, and Reverend Ryan Lamb officiating.

Interment will follow in the Appling Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2023, from 6-8 P.M. at Nobles Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be grandsons: Jeremy Cantrell, John Crabb III, Scott Crabb, Gabe Crabb, Josh Akers, Joel Giles, Jacob Giles, and David Taylor III.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Women of Praise Sunday School Class of Spring Branch Baptist Church.
